More Ways to Get Involved
Announcing The Cortex Society
Unveiled during our 25th anniversary celebrations, The Cortex Society recognizes the donors who have made so much of our success possible, based upon cumulative lifetime giving in support of Center for BrainHealth.
Representing the four critical regions of the cerebral cortex, these recognition levels collectively empower BrainHealth, playing a critical role for the center, just as they do in the brain, and our future success is equally dependent on each.
Become a Friend of BrainHealth
Join Friends of BrainHealth to help launch new careers and significantly shape research at Center for BrainHealth. Each year, Friends funds new projects by emerging researchers at all levels of post-secondary study. Learn more about the grant application process.
Research grants are announced at the Ramona Jones Friends of BrainHealth Scientist Selection Luncheon, one of the most popular events of the year, featuring a riveting contest, energetic presentations by finalists and a live-audience vote to decide the final award.

Campaign Success
Thanks to more than 2,300 donors (including 1,792 first-time supporters) we surpassed our ambitious $50 million Limitless campaign goal. Limitless concluded in August 2025 with more than $60.5 million in gifts and pledges.
We are deeply grateful to visionary supporters such as Sammons Enterprises, Jean Ann Brock, the Estate of Janet DeSanders, Beverly and Don Freeman, Jennifer and Peter Roberts and many others.
Every gift during this eight-year effort propelled our research, clinical programs, public lectures, and student experiences to new heights. The conclusion of Limitless during the same year as our 25th anniversary creates a bright path forward for even greater advances in brain health.
