Vonetta Dotson, PhD – Neuropsychologist, Brigham and Women's Hospital

About the Talk

Dr. Dotson is a neuropsychologist with primary clinical expertise in cognitive and psychiatric disorders in late life. Her research focuses on positive and negative modifiers of brain health, including the intersection of depression with cognitive and brain aging, and the impact of health disparities on brain health. Her research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, and private foundations. Dr. Dotson holds R01 funding from the National Institute on Aging and she is multiple principal investigator on three U19 awards from the National Institutes of Health. She has held numerous leadership positions within the International Neuropsychological Society and the American Psychological Association (APA), and she is a fellow of APA’s Society for Clinical Neuropsychology.
