In 2006, Journey: The Art, Music, and Words of Grant Halliburton introduced audiences to the creative voice of a gifted young artist and musician who died by suicide at age 19. This 20th anniversary exhibition invites guests to see the world through Grant's eyes, and reveals how his family and community transformed profound loss into a mission that brings help and hope to hundreds of thousands of North Texans.
The exhibit brings together 50+ of Grant’s paintings, charcoal works and drawings, along with personal writings, poetry and a Listening Lounge featuring original music recorded with his high school bandmates.

In 2026, Grant Halliburton Foundation commemorates two decades of work focused on youth mental health and suicide prevention education for North Texas communities. Since its inception, the foundation has reached more than 375,000 students, educators, parents, and professionals with its mental health education, resources, and support programs.
This private viewing of the Journey exhibition is part of Grant Halliburton's 20th Anniversary Art Show, a series of events with community programming, educational activations, and opportunities for reflection and connection. Other anniversary-focused programming in 2026 includes a Galleria Dallas Gallery Wall installation in September during National Suicide Prevention Month, as well as the Foundation’s annual fundraising events.
